i've been a bit busy with college work and other things, so progress on the game has been kinda slow, but rest assured i'm still working on it. hope you enjoyed all that, toodles!

lastly, i've been working on some new gamemodes, i've got one mostly implemented atm (just needs some extra sprites drawn for it), and a few others conceptualised recently with some assets drawn out for them.
i'm really excited to get them all made, but they'll take a while for sure

i also tried working on the load times! as it stands, the game loads a lot faster than it did before (for me, the game loads everything in around 1 or 2 seconds compared to the maybe 5-10 with the base game assets only beforehand)

i've been reworking the modding system a bit once more, this time i've gone after the settings text files. i thought the old system was quite outdated and unintuitive, so i reworked it to use a json format instead.
i feel like it's overall easier to use, both for making and managing them

starting off, we got two new skins implemented in the game! these two are intended to be used for the story mode of the game, they are called "Sunlite", and the "Cotton Gnomy" (this is gonna be used for three characters because they look the same...)!

should clarify the Mod in the last image is just a test one i put together to specifically demonstrate how one would look in the menu, I Didn't Make That Gnome You Know...

also ignore the fact i wrote 2024 for the game version that's a typo LOL
