they'll all be eaten by socialist party surely. They're the only org with any elected reps aren't they?
November 28, 2025 at 3:58 AM
Socialist alliance bit of a misnomer innit? Why doesn't the biggest socialist party not simply consume the smaller ones?
November 28, 2025 at 3:11 AM

When are they going to stop blaming the LNP and do something about cost of living/housing though?
November 26, 2025 at 6:02 AM
It's all too confusing honestly lol
November 24, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Yeah I get what you mean. The semantic distinction between communist and socialist still confuses me. Correct me if I'm wrong but Lenin considered himself a socialist. So Marxist-leninism still probably socialist. Which personally I prefer even if it is more confusing
November 24, 2025 at 1:59 AM
That's a good point. But aren't soc Dems broadly speaking "socialist"? Assuming "democratic socialism" a la Madani is the same as Soc Dem

A service run by not-for-profit community service orgs that actually helps people, rather than a punitive, for profit scam. Seems obvious doesn't it?

"one of his more popular policies" yeah so polling net -15 points compared to tariffs -50 and Epstein -80.

This is essentially the paradox. By this logic, you could justify voting for the Tories if your sole objective is to stop reform. They are probably the most similar in terms of policy, and have the best chance of taking reforms votes
November 16, 2025 at 1:15 PM
Yeah idk don't you see the irony that labour becomes more like reform every day and yet people still scold people into voting for labour to stop reform? It's madness. I understand first past the post is shit but it's the same problem in all liberal democracies
November 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM
How you end up with reform is with labour mimicking reform policies in a futile attempt to win their voters, which doesn't work and alienates their base.

Regardless of where the author is from, he's right. His policies are normal, civilised, and reasonable. And your response is just Yankee cope.
