This year's prizes are ready to go, including 3D printed boxes from the ATLAS facility, and pins, stickers and pens from Etsy.
Its a bit of a silly game - inspired by the Pokémon cartoon from the '90s - but it incentivises attendance and participation! Nice treat after 10 weeks hard work too..! 😊

I have no idea what I'm going to use BlueSky for - probably a lot of random, irreverant posting - so bear with me!
I had a lot of fun with a series of skeleton etymology tweets back in the day, so may renew that and see how we get on!

I'm verbose and prone to typos - so enjoy! Outside of my academic roles I am a defacto nerd (Marvel > DC, currently DMing a digital Curse of Strahd campaign, and now on my 5th Stardew Valley farm) and dog-fanatic (spaniels are the Best Dogs and no-one will change my mind).

I also love playing with new educational tools and toys - I was an early adopter of Complete Anatomy in our teaching, and have (and am) working to develop digital teaching approaches within our team for radiography and histology.

I am developing a series of research projects looking at how we can incorporate 3D digital technology - including structured light scanning and FDM printing - in forensic anthropology, with a focus at the moment on reproducibility and accuracy of 3D scanning.
