Five hours of work on botanical impression dishes in 1:25. Thankfully I was able to find another bag, but the studio I work at hasn’t been able to get the porcelain I use so I was really trying to get the most out of that slab. Nasturtium, fig, oak, and pomegranate.

67 hand sculpted porcelain charms in their bisque stage. The charms are in the shape of faces, hands, coffins, butts, strawberries, and skulls on a round plate. Each charm is painted with designs of masks, clowns, art deco woman’s faces, and strawberries over their basic shapes.

The pocket is big enough to put a few fresh or dried flowers in. There are sculpted flowers, a bird skull, and ornate scrolls decorating the piece.

A single ceramic tea cup. The tea cup is made from a light colored clay body, glazed with a glossy white glaze. There are four skulls decorating the tea cup, so no matter which way the cup is facing there is always a visible skull. This is a small teacup without a handle and is designed to fit comfortably in one hand.

Progress on some vases at the clay center yesterday! Firing at a group studio feels like having a saving account, but for ceramics instead of money. In my little kiln at home I can push through production quickly but this is nice for markets a little farther out - like the Pharmacy Museum in March!
