A year ago this little green companion came home with me, just a tiny cluster of hope in a pot. Today, it’s grown fuller, and stronger reminding me daily that with a little light, patience, and care, life always finds its way forward.

My friend told me to use this but I can’t find it anywhere on Maui…seems like the company is out of stock…it’s a 8-8-8 fertilizer…if you do find something please let me know.

It was nice to see a lot of people in the community honoring ancestors and recently departed loved ones. The Lahaina Obon Festival was a first in that it was a combined Obon between the three Buddhist Temples in Lahaina, Lahaina Hongwanji Mission, Lahaina Shingon Mission and Lahaina Jodo Mission.
