I sadly have had zero time for anything because of academics, but I figured I’d post a #WIP of a fic (one of many, help) that I’ve been working on in the background. This one is centered around #Valentino and #HazbinHotel. (I’ll post my Helluva Boss WIP when I’m not totally swamped!)
WIP text by Bonanabug that reads: There is a river in him, and it runs red. Red as the hellish skyscape floating above V Tower, red as the smoke that pools out of his mouth, red as the blood of what he used to be. Valentino doesn’t know why there’s so much red in the Pride Ring; surely the colour is better suited to Wrath or Lust? But the place is full of it, and it makes Pride feel like it’s a little more his. He drapes silken wings around himself to form a coat as sinner scum on the streets below scuttle like cockroaches. Those things, he thinks as his long body presses against the balcony railing, live in the peripherals of Pentagram City; the grit beneath its nails. They hunch beside trash fires, brandish knives with flashing smiles, scurry into dark alleyways for drug-fueled quickies. Sick fucks. Unlike them, Valentino lives in the Pentagram’s pulsing heart, swims in its lifeblood. His dwelling is impermanence so he thrives on the city’s thrumming heartbeats: the parties, the violence, the sloppy, raging sex. It’s more fun when chaos rules his head, and as far as anyone in Pentagram City’s concerned, Valentino is chaos.

A little bit of vent art, maybe? Wonder if Cherri ever feels left behind when Angel takes steps to turn his life around. Like, incredibly happy for him, obviously, but not in a place to step into healing herself. Not just yet, anyway.
