Your brain is just blocking the simple truth that being an ICE agent for years was just similar to being a cop in America. It makes sense that there are less dissenters. They don't or have colleagues that torture people and rape kids on the street or bulldozing innocent people's houses.

From 2015 to 2021, ICE has had 23 deadly shootings, that is ~3/year. This month they killed 2 people already. They've immensely increased the amount of people they apprehend (ignoring laws), and they're sending them to torture camps in Nicaragua. ICE's actions have definitely escalated recently.

Extent matters, whether you like it or not. You wouldn't equate antisemitism of the nazis with antisemitism before that time. Sure, jews have been victim to violence from christians for centuries, but you can't compare that to the industrial genocide of 6 million people.

You should kind of realize that you've conceded your point when you're resorting "it's both bad" 😂 ICE didn't have torture camps like Abu Ghraib, raping random kids. It's only since recently that they've become the menace to US society that it is now, causing people to be afraid to leave the house.

AND there are simply more soldiers in the US military than ICE agents, let alone vets (the army exists longer than ICE). So the total amount of vets is immensely bigger, and therefore the total amount of dissidents much higher and for that reason much more visible.

By "Now" I'm referring to the people who are Now actively ICE agents. They're not "ICE veterans" yet. You are comparing veterans (ex-soldiers) to active ICE agents, that makes no sense. Currently there are people in the US military doing horrible shit to the world, like the killings in Venezuela.
