This makes a lot of sense to me. It's those first couple turns that seem to decide things against the aggro decks.

Also been having a blast with this! Been trying a white splash for Prismatic and clarion conq for aggro/belcher/broodscale... thoughts?
Also saw you cut shardless here. Did you miss them? Thoughts on 1-2 neoform to help with games you don't draw ritual?
