The last special rule for my tower is my Frankie Peanuts rule. I also usually play this rule in Commander with my friends. Once per game, you can call out "Frankie Peanuts" and ask an opponent a Yes or No question. They have to abide by their answer.

If you looked at the list you may have noticed there is a Summon the Pack. You don't get to choose the pack you open, sorry. If you cast this card you MUST open a pack of Legions.

There are endless ways to build and customize Wizard's Tower. This tower, my main and favorite, is a Sovereign's Realm Tower. There are no lands in the tower, so when you want to play a land, exile a card from your hand face down and it taps for any color.

Anyway, this has realllllllly helped me break a lot of bad habits. Besides, in the words of Tyler Durden: Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate, so we can buy shit we don’t need.

Don’t buy shit you don’t need and you won’t have to work a job you hate.

Once it leaves the waiting list, it goes on the wish list. Wish list items get a line on my budget and once it’s fully funded I can purchase it. I’m trying to buy second hand nowadays as much as I can, just to reduce waste, but if I see it on sale at a good price I’ll get it.

The wait period is like a big interview. I gotta make sure it fits my needs and it’s the best one to hire. I have questions I ask and research I do. I don’t want to repurchase something and waste more money because I bought something low quality. It’s more expensive up front but worth it in the end.

Second thing I’m doing is SLOWING DOWN the buying process. Companies make the bulk of their sales by convincing you that your need is immediate and you are missing out if you wait. Impulse creates waste.

I also HAVE to have the money set aside already for the item. I am two months ahead on expenses with a decent sized emergency fund. I do this by budgeting with YNAB (youneedabudget.com). If you’re interested in setting up a budget I would love to help you with this.
