What I'm talking is adding a new service other than atproto_pds to user's DID doc. It isn't related to PDS, but editing a DID doc is usually done through the user PDS which currently requires emailed token as an input.

There is ongoing work to allow permissions by lexicons (like `app.bsky.feed.post`) but afaik it's not polished enough so hasn't been adapted yet.

I get that level of restriction is good for things like PDS migration where user identity might go miserably wrong state.
But imo adding additional service shouldn't be that hard.
I haven't seen any atproto application using that field in DID doc.

Isn't clicking a link in an email also a human action?
Like password reset confirmation links which is used pretty commonly.

I wish it to at least have something like approval link instead. or is this what already happening? haven't tested it yet with public accounts.

or "this service will be added to your account" message on oauth login like those lexicon permissions.

more atproto-idiomatic approach would be running appview-local knot like how other appviews run CDN instead of fetching to user's PDS every time.
There is ongoing discussion related to this topic! so would be fixed soon.

fr. I don't see how a dislike can improve the Algo.
Sure, in society, posts that make people mad generally spread way faster. But that's not what I want for a feed to do.
Even if it's hard, I want it to do opposite.
I want the feed to show me contents that makes me happy, not angry.

I'm running everything locally.
From PLC to PDS, all sandboxed.
Will share as a repo soon
