That’s fair, but if those voters would have voted for Harris had she not campaigned with Liz Cheney, is that not a fumble by the campaign? The Liz Cheney move didn’t even move the needle with moderate republicans

Also, Harris was doing well in the beginning with the anti-trust/anti-price gouging talk. Then she dropped that for small business tax credits for some reason (trying to shore up Silicon Valley corporation support)

100%. I’m under no impression that Bernie-type policy alone would have won the election, but at the very least she needed to distance herself from Biden and give people some major *universal* policy proposal that isnt a tax credit and that everyone would benefit from

The vast majority of this country votes based on emotion, not reason. You simply cannot win an election without a strong message that promises people their lives will get better, not just that they will not get worse.

Then what is the solution if the sole blame is on the voters? Shouldn’t the solution be to change campaign strategy such that it actually excites the voters who aren’t politically engaged?
