Jack Teixeira doesn't have a fully developed frontal cortex yet. Pete Hegseth (presumably) does. So another level to this is that we're giving a KID 15 years and the whole ass adult will have no consequences.

But at the same time people spewing the most hateful rhetoric imaginable consider themselves kind and caring individuals. The cognitive dissonance is exhausting.

The rhetoric they spew about people with autism is horrific. They're trying to turn autism into the boogeyman. Why don't you try actually communicating with the people you're trying to demonize??
