As you say, GW painting the fur and flesh in contrasting colours was jarring, whereas all black here looks great.
Great work on replacing the foot, I have a plastic Talisman Dragon that needs similar work since I lost the base they were sculpted on...

I tend to get painting paralysis.
All my paint jobs are in stasis at a midpoint while I try to work out a magic solution so they can look as good as the picture in my head.
I guess the solution is paint more 😄

I know what you mean, planning a converted army is fun to begin with but complications crop up as you go!
I still have no idea what to do with my leadbelchers, they look unfinished compared with the others, something's missing!
