A jumbled hodgepodge of end time ideology and Catholicism. Characters rushed through their speeches and the FX was silly. Started with promise and went downhill almost immediately. I like religious horror, but this wasn’t it. 2/10

Beautiful sounding and shot so prettily, but glacially paced (after 40 minutes, there’s finally something resembling horror) and hard to follow in spots. Loved the snakes and the brief shot of the deity. Creepy. 5.5/10

The time jumps are convoluted nonsense, the bad guy is almost infallible and everyone acts like headless chickens. Fortunately, Hugh Bonneville is delectable, so that somewhat held my attention. Other films have done this better. 4/10

I really liked the last installment,so I was really looking forward to this. So much lower quality than it’s predecessors. Completely llackluster and only decent-ish after the reveal. 3/10 for parts of the soundtrack.

So this take is basically if Ed Gein was a woman. Pretty stylish, but the ending is telegraphed from a mile away. However, I appreciated the look into the neurosis of a younger generation. Interesting. 6/10

Well, there’s definitely that one scene that divides 😉 audiences on whether or not this goes too hard, and I say it’s great. Like the western aspect, the lore and of course, Kurt Russell (but who doesn’t?) in mutton chops. 8/10

Bloody, raucous and funny revenge horror. Love both Steven Yeun and Samara Weaving, which have adorable chemistry. I had a great time, so I highly recommend this. Because honestly? It’s cute! 7.5/10

This has always been touted as a great anthology series, but I was non-plussed. The individual stories were banal and the thread that held it all together had me rolling my eyes. 2/10 also.

I was initially intrigued by the poster art…. so very 60s. Then when the movie started, I went straight to hating the couple at its center. No amount of gore could help, I just wanted it over. Quickly. 2/10

Hmm. We know my feelings on space flicks, then add in Reynolds and Gyllenhaal being annoying. 😐Fortunately, Ariyon Bakare was amazing and the monster was intriguing, so instead of my usual pan, I give this a solid 6/10.

I’d heard how devastating this was and I bet for parents it’s a whole other level. But after the initial insanity, the black comedy took me right out. I guess I was in the mood for realistic bleak, not the silly kind. 5.5/10

A silly, gory satire of metalheads, evangelicals and those with spooky beliefs. Such an over-the-top, hilarious time. And 10 years later, looks like a sequel is finally in the works. I had such a great time with it. 6/10

Shockingly cerebral in parts, mumbo jumbo in others and finally so much camp you'll think you're on Drag Race.
Still, the 70s fashion was lit and it’s an okay enough time waster. 3/10

My well-documented love of Kevin Bacon makes me so nostalgic for this, and it certainly holds up still. Hilarious, no plot holes, and Fred Ward, Reba McEntire and Michael Gross were such a treat. Could rewatch repeatedly. 8/10

So you're born into this ceaselessly apathetic world without a good map to tell you what to do. It's cruel, inhuman and nonsensical.
Through birth and death, it cycles again. Not cohesive (maddening actually), but visually wild. 6/10
