Starting out in Stand Up used to result in getting a sitcom. But most of our talkshow hosts and comedy movie stars started in Improv. Sure, some of them have done standup since, but the original background was improv.

Just so I'm clear, your question is "How is supporting candidates that support the things we want and working to get them the most votes" different from "The head of the party just blacklists people that don't fall in line with no input from voters"?

There's evidence to suggest fairly developed larynx's in some species of dinosaurs. This would suggest that they were vocal, so mimicry is definitely a possibility. Or at least more sophisticated noises than just roars and growls.

Linguine. Either pick Spaghetti or Fettuccine, don't be a coward and split the difference.

He says the Navy doctors saw it and never expressed a problem. Which makes me question how bad it would need to be for those regulations to be applied.

Thanks! A few months later the Cat Distribution System decided I had had enough time to mourn and I have a lovely adult rescue. She's great and sweet, but it's not the same, some pets are just a unique bond.

I married my GF 2 weeks ago, but I had already decided I wanted to after that night. Scoundrel's picture was on an easel at the ceremony.

At this point it's like 10 pm on a weeknight, but fortunately we leave by a vet school and my vet got us in for emergency surgery. The surgeon took more images before the surgery and the cancer had spread and called it off. I was a total wreck as I said good bye to Scoundrel that night .

I was less than a year into a relationship when my cat got sick. After X-rays, the vet tells me it is complete kidney failure and the only option is a very expensive procedure. I was in shock and not sure if I should. My GF just said, "It's Scoundrel. We'll find a way"

Dan Egan: Ma'am, maybe that wasn't the message you wanted to send.
Selina Meyer: Oh please, who cares about field hockey or whatever?
Dan *Leans in and whispers something*
Selina *Eyes go wide* The F stands for what?!

I wish it had more time to find its footing, SG1 early seasons were pretty rough too. But ultimately what I liked about SG1 and SGA was highly competent people reacting to extraordinary situations. The whole premise of "wrong crew in the wrong place" just bounced for a lot of fans.

Because cross disciplinary cooperation is going to be solved by machine and not, just, getting people to talk to each other. If you want to stimulate innovation or whatever, just have fun places for professors to hang out.

Does the military still require vaccines? Are they going to be rejecting people for being unvaccinated?

I work in software, not games, and we internally promoted two people from the same position at the same time and it has been so difficult. Like we're trying really hard not to pull them back to their old job all the time, but it's been hard. If they had left all together, we'd be done.

I thought the incentive for paying taxes and wages was, if not the betterment of society, at least not going to prison?

I forget the players, but it was a match between a Master and some noble at the Paris Opera House. I think a true Opera Game involves a Queen sacrifice, but this is pretty close.

It's like some sort of highly specialized mining equipment, something most people don't need and wouldn't know how to use. It's being sold as a replacement for screwdrivers, a task it absolutely cannot do. But for the most part, I agree with you, it's largely useless and not worth it

Things with large amounts of data where false positives and false negatives are not a problem. So selecting candidates for a medical study, for instance, where you have access to millions of patient records but you only need a thousand. It can whittle it down to a list you need to review.

Arguing that hospitals being bombed, civilians being targeted, and food and water being limited leading to the death of children and non combats who just live in the area (that they are not allowed to leave, I might add) are acceptable means of fighting a war is a pretty far right position
