The idea that mass death is a bad thing is unfortunately a partisan issue now.

For sure

Look, I find it _so annoying_ having to explain super basic trans stuff to people who just don't know. (My book is sort of about this.) But it's worth taking the time with those who are genuinely ignorant, especially at a moment in history where there is a concerted effort to spread lies about us.
