Instagram -in the grand scheme of things- isn't much better, but: I agree, I wish folks would consider the overall damage potential-to psyche and even country now.

It's a problem. I can leave a platform when it becomes problematic, but my friends are too attached; I can only get few - if any - to follow me (to alternatives)or even just leave period. TikTok and Discord come to mind in particular.
