Have you seen Midnight Gospel on Netflix? It’s sort of the same premise except it’s an animated show and each episode interviews a different guest and covers a different philosophical topic. I think you might enjoy it!

He drifts in and out of the frame just as every other character. But I feel like his role in the movie is to make all these unconscious theories feel more human. Then he drifts away and leaves us reeling from our own awakening.

Haha there was so much involved in this movie, I’m going to have to watch it again to put the pieces together! I’m not upset about that though!

That makes sense now that I think about it. That explains why The Dreamer isn’t present for every conversation.

There were so many brilliant, superficial “aha” moments and moments of austere relatability. From the first moment we realize “Main Character” flips the light switch and we know that he is still in the dream state to the conversation about ants on the subway!
