1966, pre-race our band marched the track on the 50th running. We had to retrieve drums from turn 2 safety tent. The big wreck at the start of the race, let us get to our front stretch inside north end seats in time for the restart. Graham Hill spun twice in front of us and won. 53 Indy 500s todate
