Honestly, snopes has been missing the mark for a couple years now. It was bought in 2022 and is now run by a tech bro. I am not saying its right leaning now, but I am saying snopes has “proven false” other things that folks have witnessed with their own eyes. Just saying.

Have NP school be the same intensity as MD/DO school and make NPs take the USMLE.
NPs are a very valuable asset to the team but the education is not equivalent.

So stating that DOs are anything less than a fully licensed physician would be an error.

DO is equivalent to MD in the United States.
DOs take the United States Medical Licensing Exam like their MD counterparts, and their education is equivalent to a MD except they have an additional 400 hours of osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Its the exact amount needed to allow the ultra wealthy the tax breaks they had gotten under Trump’s first administration. That plan was to sunset this year but that’s what they needed in order to continue to not be heavily taxed
