Back in 2002 in an interview. Michael Jackson was asked about the inspiration behind the song ‘Speechless’. To quote Jackson:

One of the many lyrics from the song ‘Speechless’. Track 8 of album titled ‘Invincible’. Michael Jackson wrote a love song inspired from an interaction with kids.
