Another massive overnight Russian air attack on Ukraine. More blood is on the hands of not only the war criminal in the Kremlin, but his accomplice through inaction in the White House, or is it Mar-a-Lago Golf Club - Donald, 'Leave it all to Witkoff' to manage on Moscow's terms.

The great betrayal of Ukraine, Europe and the international rules-based system, US values, unfolding. Trump saying 'F..k the Free World! I'll do whatever profits my ego and pocket.' Telling Russia it can get away with barbarism & land theft & be rewarded. No way this can pass!

Putin bombs and kills; Trump talks and stalls; Europe prepares, but hesitates; Ukraine suffers and fights on. For now, the only light at the end of the tunnel are the explosions from long-range missiles and drones hurting Russia's economy and war effort.

Does renegade Fico deserve to be included in the EU setup? What do Slovaks think of their PM who puts Putin and Russia above Europe & beleaguered Ukraine, & is transforming Slovakia into a Russian fifth column? Or are we back to 1968 & Bilak v Dubcek days? Slovaks, what say you?

As Trump waffled on at his press conference, ignored his latest expired deadline re. Putin & Ukraine, air sirens went off again in Kyiv. European leaders meeting this week, this man is a wrecker. He does not give a damn about you, nor Ukraine. Delay no longer. Act!

Air raid sirens sounding again in Kyiv as Xi, Putin, Modi, Fico, etc. meet in China, mocking Trump's appeasement, procrastination. Today, Trump's latest 'deadline' expires. At least Europe is finally responding in a united and purposeful manner in support of Ukraine with deeds, not just words.

Will prevaricating Trump finally say enough to Putin? Last chance for him, having painted himself into a corner, the great 'peacemaker' will finally be forced to deliver. Meanwhile, Russia continues bombing Ukraine and trying to grab more territory & Putin smirks.

US embassy in Kyiv has finally condemned the "senseless," read savage and criminal, Russian attack on June 17 killing 22 civilians, including a US citizen. It runs 'counter to President Trump’s call to stop the killing and end the war,' the embassy meekly regurgitates. Shameful!

Terrible night in Kyiv (& Odesa) under aerial bombardment by Russians. So far, 14 reported killed in the capital. One of our young female journalists, & mother, writes: "Last night was the first time in the past 3.5 years that I truly felt I was going to die....it was pure hell." Free world - SOS!

Ukraine, Europe and its supporters have "Tusks." Today's US has (T)"Rumps." The stench is becoming unbearable. Proud Americans, don't put up with this! We count on you to save your country's honour & continue to hold the line.

"All-talk" Trump's fiasco with appeasing Putin leaves Ukraine & the free world in a bigger mess & greater uncertainty. The overbearing US loudmouth is a destructive trouble-maker, not a peace-maker. How long will Americans put up with him? (Cartoon: Serhiy Kolyada for Kyiv Post)

Re. Trump-Putin online embrace: No mention of Ukraine's rights/Russia's aggression. Trump fails re. ceasefire agreement. Putin seeks to prevent Ukraine from hitting Russia where it hurts most - its energy infrastructure. Trump colludes. Appalling! Recipe for disaster, not peace.

Happy St. Patrick's Day. The legendary tale of him supposedly driving out snakes from Ireland is very apt for today when very real snakes exist in numerous high places. Worth a toast with green (Ze) beer; suits are not obligatory.

The moral disarmament of the US continues. It has quietly withdrawn from an international group investigating those responsible for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, including President Vladimir Putin, and Russia's allies in Belarus, NK and Iran, the NYT reports. More disgrace!
