I think it is pretty unambiguous that trans women who transition after puberty have a significant advantage over cis women, due to testosterone. Trans men also have an advantage over cis women, due to HRT.

One of the difficulties with including trans women in womens’ sports is that testosterone is a performance enhancing drug. Thats part of the reason why there isn’t a backlash to trans men competing in mens sports, there is a more even playing field because everybody got testosterone, pill or natty
