Sublimation is a creepy mix of Neon Genesis Evangelion and On a Sunbeam!
From a young age, children on the colony are groomed to eventually wield the angels against outsiders, whether they want to or not.

It's a coming of age thriller about Alpha, a girl who is going to be forced to pilot a killer mech called an Angel unless she can find a way to escape her home on an isolationist space colony, and by extension her mother.

Edith has gotten very into playing the mouth harp lately

A comic of me walking under the hot sun. I'm sweating profusely and say "Man.. It's a scorcher out here..." and in response a voice coming from the tote bag im carrying says "Yeah man! It's like an oven out today!!" startling me. I look into my bag confused as fuck and see a little demon guy that's the size of an apple looking back at me with a annoyed look. He then holds up a can of Mike's harder lemonade and says "Want a Mike's harder Cranberry Lemonade?"

Page 4: Pebbles visits a co worker operating the twister. They describe it like this with a visual of hands wringing a wet cloth "My first stop, The Twister. It's kind of like when you wring a wet cloth out over the sink." They start writing notes in their notebook while Cracking and screaming sounds wring out around them "...But with more crushing and cracking. Much to think about..." In the next panel they visit a different co-worker working The Sucker. The co-worker working the sucker waves hello to them while they have their mouth on a huge silly straw. Pebbles narrates "Next, I went to the sucker. It's unseemly, but a man's got to make a living. Still... gross." In the last panel they are scribbling in a notebook when suddenly they're interrupted by an alarm going off. Page 5: In the first panel Pebbles is standing in front of a huge monitor that reads "ALERT" an announcement comes from a speaker that reads "BLOOD QUOTA REACHED! ALL EMPLOYEES REPORT TO THE PIT" In the next panel Pebbles and many other employees are on a conveyor belt that is slowly dropping people into the pit. They seem unbothered by this and narrate "Huh... Nice that we're finally using the conveyor belt. Seemed a bit out of place before. But it all makes sense now! Us all being lined up like dominoes. Kind of poetic.. makes you think..." In the next panel they have a quiet moment of inspiration and come up with this haiku " Us all, one by one. Dominoes, ready to fall... Mist on still water." In the last panel they very excitedly show "FUCK YES!!" and there is a small text bubble that reads "Haiku achieved" Page 6: Standing very proudly. Pebbles thinks "Now that I don't need this stupid job anymore... I quit!" and takes the paper bag off their head and slams it into the ground. In the next panel Pebbles is waiting at the bus stop outside the factory thinking "Nice to be out of there." In the last panel they turn away from the factory and look at their phone while behind them the whole factory is consumed by a giant worm that bursts suddenly out of the ground. Pebbles thinks "Now, time to look at some job ads."
