So it is more like Technology Disconnections this time...
Ok, I'm out.

You don't really need battery powered equipment for that when wired equipment can do the job. And have been available for decades (at least where I live).

Indeed, even the accessibility is pretty well integrated (except maybe for some disabilities).

That's the whole point, you have crappy tools and good tools on every platform. Since my grandmother (95) switched to Linux Mint it has been such a relief for everyone because it fits HER needs perfectly even with an uptime of 250 days. And she started using computers 8 years ago.

I have the feeling it is a little bit less true now than a few years ago. The Steam deck is a good example, you can use it and don't care on what it runs. One of the problems is that you have so many choices it can be overwhelming. Even my grandmother uses Linux and she never touched a command line.

Yes, people tend to group themselves by common interests so it is biased. But I think everyone is curious from the start. Children always ask questions but If you do not or cannot answer them without alternatives it is less stimulating. Then of course learning how to learn is then a big plus.

I would like to argue that a lot of web apps do not follow platform's guidelines. I worked with designers/clients used to iOS or web interfaces and wanting the same exact UI for Android native apps. For example, Prime video maybe good on TV but is horrible to use on a desktop.

THIS is driving me crazy. In France we have tons of roundabouts and rules to use signals with them since at least 1995. And to this day people still do not understand the difference between the steering wheel and turn signals.
One way to mitigate that is to look at the front wheels angle.

When I got my MD walkman with USB connection I was really disappointed. Because it seemed that you could transfer you music via USB but in reality Sony implemented a one way design you couldn't download your own recordings! Sony's dream is to put a DRM in your brain for their benefit nothing more.
