nothing new to post so here's strange mermaid ocs [and a fisherman]
a butch fisherman nonchalantly holding up a very strange, large mermaid-like creature by one arm and making a "peace" sign with the other. the mermaid has pale, purple-ish flesh without scales and a set of stark red gills along her ribs, and looks to be rather slimy. the same mermaid creature and fisherman; the fisherman leans over the side of an implied boat to meet the eyes of the mermaid creature, who looks up at him longingly. Another strange, lanky mermaid-ish creature that is a sickly pale blue colour. Her large green iridescent tail is largely in contrast with her pale upper half, and has scarring that reveals tender pale flesh beneath lost scales. She has stark red gills along her ribs that stand out against her skin, and her long tail has yellow striping at the end that fades out into the large fins.
