I like 1942, esp the great music by Mark Cooksey.

Ham and pickle were one of theirs weren’t they?

Have these regularly. Had the cheese ones last night. They go well with caramelised onion chutney. 🙂

I think it was playing Beamrider that got me to love the arcade game Juno First. 🙂

Have this on the Atari 2600 and Mattel Intellivision. Pretty good fun. 🕹️🙂

So sorry to hear this Daz. My sincerest condolences to all Nick’s family and friends. RIP fine Sir. 😢

Agreed. I think it was ok and better than the official Bombjack release.

The Zzap review wasn’t as complimentary. I think one of them said Mark had had his lobes removed. 😆

Ahh! I didn’t realise it was disc only. Definitely wouldn’t have got it as I was a tape only owner too. 🙂

Yeah, I know it got a great review in Zzap! etc, just don’t think it appealed to my teenage self. 🙂

Really must try this. Never got it back in the day and haven’t played it on emu.

Sounds like heresy but I’ve never played Archon. Never appealed to my teenage self and never tried it on emu these days yet. 🙂

Great game. I bought this at the ATC shop in Eltham SE London. I left it in the bus by accident. It was a circular route, when the bus came back an hour later I asked if I could go check upstairs and lo and behold it was still sitting there on the seat. Still have it today. 🙂

I like this, especially the view of the wing and engine. 🙂

I have this since it came out, pretty decent versions and great value.

Love this one ever since I saw the launch sequence on an Atari 8 bit in Silica Shop back in the day.
