and i feel that, as a man of color myself, white ppl in fandom spaces making race/ethnicity hcs should be done carefully, because its very easy to unknowingly push harmful stereotypes. i see it all the time.

i don't mean this in a "only white men do fucked up shit, men of color do no wrong" way, not at all. jimmy's race has nothing to do with his actions. HOWEVER. in western media, men of color are frequently made out to be violent, aggressive, and/or straight up evil.
