We really missed out on having a Danial Craig version of Moonraker. Like, the entire plot with a billionaire eugenicist with a space obsession is just real life now. Its doesn't even go against that dark gritty realistic aesthetic anymore.

We really missed out on having a Danial Craig version of Moonraker. Like, the entire plot with a billionaire eugenicist with a space obsession is just real life now. Its doesn't even go against that dark gritty realistic aesthetic anymore.
Some of the literary allusions in star trek (Especially the Wrath of Khan) seem pretty ham fisted when the characters keeps saying them. But I like to imagine future is post-post irony poisoned. So people in the future actually do take lessons from art and history to not make the same mistakes...

Everyone mogged CES rightfully for all the investment fraud they were up too. But... What gets in my craw is making fun of all the little roombas with robot arms that pick up tissues and other trash. Nobody regrets buying a robot vacuum. That feature would be genuinely useful to me.

Listened to a recent interview of Peter Thiel talking about how curing cancer is a "fake moon shot". Like bruh, what if you get untreatable brain cancer? Also cancer survivability has made bigger leaps then sending robots to Icy death worlds, also for way cheaper too.
