I love TLJ, tbh. I'm more open to to some of its faults as time goes by but it's the only original piece in the sequel trilogy,which shouldn't be remarkable but here we are. It set up a great balance between light and dark and Rae Nobody was beautiful. Then JJ follows it with derivative hackery.

Reasonable director of actors I suppose but he's an enormously derivative hack. A lazy writer who never met a piece of fan service he didn't like.

Tbh I'm not opposed to party structure. Every member acting independently on everything would be pretty messy. But don't come out with I Couldn't Possibly I'm Definitely Not Allowed when you have a genuine conscience concern. That's just dishonest.

The NACC was deliberately designed to be utterly ineffective. No way Labor and Liberal would let a genuine ICAC arise if they have any power to stop it.

Have a) the desire or b) enough clout to stop the party from undermining them if they use independent judgement.
It'll never not infuriate me when MPs ask for a conscience vote. FFS, the Constitution doesn't mention parties. They are all conscience votes. They only toe the party line for expedience
