Access to our back gate is challenging with our new transit camper van on our parking pad. I built and installed a gate in a small, but usable spot in the other side of our garage. Need to finish up some trim bits, but we now have a functioning gate.

Baltic birch plywood with insulation sub-floor installed by AVCrig based in Loveland, CO. Big next step in our camper van conversion of a 2025 Ford Transit cargo van. Anna and I are now deciding on which Lonseal vinyl flooring to go on top of the sub-floor.

Seasoning our new carbon steel pans from GOSO (Go Outside and Stay Outside) for the camper. Been awhile since I’ve seasoned pans and forgot to spread the oil around at ten minutes. That said, enjoying the orange tint with the seasoning and the patterned streaks. Scrambled egg cooked like non-stick.

Driving back to Denver after spending a night camper vanning at State Forest State Park (fotos from trip coming) saw this amazing haze bank looking west towards the Rocky Mountains.

Still trying to figure out the right soil mix, nutrients, and watering cycle for growing hot peppers in Denver. Better than last year so looking forward to next year’s adjustments.

1/ We saw 56 tarantulas on our drive through the Comanche National Grasslands. We didn’t know what to expect and we were excited with our first sighting. By six we were amazed. Didn’t expect 56.

First trip with the quick build Ford Transit Camper Van. Stayed at the Johnson’s Itty Bitty Farm that is part of Harvest Hosts. Amazing hosts and place to stay. Had an amazing sunrise on our last morning.
