I’ve also noticed that he gets easily jammed on pitches running in on his hands (2-seamers and sinkers). He hasn’t been able to lay off them and typically weakly grounds out to the pull side or swings over them.

His max EV hasn’t come close to his rookie year either. I don’t get it.

I wish he took this approach more often with two strikes. He’s been whiffing a lot more this year. Nice to see him come up big into at at bat.
