Yeah, the books are so much better. He doesn't care about what they do with his movies. I have issues with the middle, but love the beginning and the end. It's different.

Have you watched the Cube series? If not, do not read about it before watching the first movie. It's better as a surprise. Not the best acting or script writing, but great plot!! The other two were... interesting.

So, I completely agree with everything you've posted! I love every movie in the Alien franchise, however, I don't count the crossovers in that. The first one was ok. I did not care for the second one. As for the Predator franchise, Prey was my favorite, but I also liked Predators with Adrian Brody.

I think it wasn't technically a remake, but I.didnt care for it. Of course, Donald Sutherland and Leonard Nimoy are hard to beat!!
