Law enforcement accountability and policy. Currently supporting efforts to curtail non-safety-related traffic enforcement to reduce pretextual stops. I also work on civilian oversight of law enforcement, data transparency, and search and seizure practices.
We can have justice AND safety if we build safer roads, focus traffic enforcement on unsafe driving, regulate minor issues civilly w/o armed police, & develop financial support for those who struggle to keep their car fixed & registration current so they can get to work.

Watching what happens will show the scope of the recissions. It'll also reveal whether police want to lose these databases now that they have them, or will push back. Many of these criminal justice reforms remain very popular regardless of party.

Meanwhile IADLEST is expanding its National Decertification Index (decertifications of state & local cops) w/DOJ funding. Can DOJ pull funding or is it already spent? Can DOJ "deauthorize" work? Or will NDI expansion simply continue?

For example, the DOJ established NLEAD, a registry of federal police misconduct usable for background checks etc. Police want this & it currently exists at a nonprofit entity, IADLEST. (BTW is that the best acronym ever or what?)

DOJ has implemented dozens of aspects of the order. Will those measures genuinely be torn down, even after the big publicity splash fades & the political tit-for-tat is recorded in Trump's official register of great deeds?

IAB is investigating her for OT abuse - she allegedly signed her own approvals for fake hours. Her salary was $164,477 but w/OT she made over $400k. She just filed to retire & would get $16,000 PER MONTH in pension.
