UBI is easier to see if you stop picturing it as “redistribution” from rightful owners and start from the fact that we already co-own the capital base — law, land, infrastructure, tech. UBI is just a citizen dividend so co-owners aren’t cut out of the returns.

Sadly, not coming *my* way. Also, as a Canadian, the States is not considered safe. It can be kind of a "Hotel California" check-in :( FWIW, I really liked that movie)

Wow. The single biggest voting bloc in the NYC mayoral primary was 18-24 year olds.

Maybe a North America Union once California area secedes as Cascadia. Camerica and Mexican America would be welcome, but I can't see inviting Russo-America now -- too Ruskie. Putin/Trump/Musk Meta-Thruple is a bridge too far.
