Pi Day should be a national holiday to recognize and celebrate science and math. Makes a lot more sense than some of the nonsense holidays we recognize in the US.

I went with the Nikkor Z 600mm F6.3 prime. A lot lighter than the 180-600 and I’m have good success hand holding it. I’m obviously giving up the flexibility of the zoom but the weight for handholding is worth it to me.

Great photo Scott! Such a cool bird. I grabbed this photo the other day but it was a of a bird that lives at that lives at the Desert Museum in Tucson. They do let them fly freely but still not a truly wild bird.
