I think I was feeling obligated to go back to the UK as quickly as possible purely because I didn't want to disappoint my mum, but now I'm understanding that I am allowed to put my own wants first and I'm not responsible for other people's happiness. Understanding that I matter, just for existing :)

So excited that things are moving along nicely. Everything is falling into place how I expected it to, other than green card waiting times, but my priorities have shifted. Still want to see my family in the UK, but getting settled here and finding our own place is the top priority.

Also I fucked up my ankle a bit so I gotta learn some discipline here REAL quick and stay off it so I'm not going into a new job, hurt
