To a degree, I understand, but I don't personally feel there's anything uniquely off about this year either. It's always been the biggest, most talked about games getting most of the attention at this show, and the more interesting nominations are found at later shows like DICE or the BAFTAs

My care for the Geoffies extends about as far as the GOTY orchestra. I am aggressively neutral on what gets nominated because GOTY is subjective anyway and also this is the worst awards show of the season despite it getting more press

Okay, sure, t's technically legal but the Equality Act makes it hard to enforce those kinds of contracts. While yes, the Act's language is specific to gender discrimination, the risk of a broad ban falling foul of that means most legal advice tells companies not to implement those clauses

This is why centrists absolutely cannot be trusted. This man was a LAWYER and he won't PROSECUTE CRIME. Probably because of some sweet payoff from Big Tech. Astounding how little he actually stands for.

Arresting protestors as terrorists, taking money from the vulnerable, aiding a genocide, supporting anti-trans policies, introducing the draconian Online "Safety" Act, adopting the rhetoric of the far-right, all while failing to bring down the cost of living in any meaningful way
