Climate weenie, software nerd, freaked out
Installing Windows Server 2008 so I can figure out how to integrate with a DCOM service. Every day's a school day.

I feel like Bluesky is not useful for grokking what's happening in the world. Twitter was a primary source of news for me, but this place always seems unperturbed by external events. Am I missing something?

This is my best friend, she's awesome, and you should hire her.
From Monday, I’m open to meeting people for coffees to catch up with old friends, to meet new people and find out more about what they do and to speak to anyone who I might be able to help or work with! Please drop me a DM 💖 (London and surrounds).

Welcome new Bluesky users. Some etiquette guidelines:

- Reduce your emissions ASAP instead of setting distant plans

- Carbon offsets are fundamentally counter-productive

- Renewable energy deployment must be both fast and cautious

- Carbon removal that delays mitigation must be stopped
