An interesting Sunday ahead! It would be even more interesting-er if a certain someone was coming…

Palin was the guest on Louis Theroux’s podcast last week. Well worth a listen.

I tried really hard to like this one. I’ve seen people mention it in the same breath as Reign in Blood. It didn’t do anything for me. Reign works because, as well as being brutal, it’s really catchy. This was just noise.

There are bits of the Punk to Come album that are really impressive, but I don’t think I’d be able to cope with a full gig of it!

Hi Richard. Apologies if I’ve missed anyone doing/asking this, but would you be able to re publish the top 100s from each of the years concerned here? Or point me in the right direction?

Apart from the opening track, Fragile is a bit weird and disjointed. The Yes album (the one before this) is much more rocking.

Katy is prob my least favourite Steely Dan record; it’s their most polite release probably. The Royal Scam would be my pick.

Hope you enjoyed. Was Blaze’s banter on a par with their Massive Noise Injection album? “Put your hands in the air, or fuck off out of the gig”.

I know David Gilmour did exactly that after Pink Floyd reunited for Live8 20 years ago.

I’ve just switched on. I lasted about 30 seconds of him and Ronnie murdering Stay with Me.

The original album is excessive enough. And excessively cheesy. 18CDs??!!
