Today was a beautiful day, for Remembrance Day... and while the sun was shining, we put up our Christmas balls!

Hello from Bailey... the biggest CHONK we've ever had.
A black and white domestic short-haired cat, perched on top of a high stack of freshly-laundered sheets and towels. Bailey had an asymmetrical face, and a VERY sweet disposition. He would, with his brother, come running to the door, when we came home. He was VERY food motivated, whereas his brother was not... so Barnum stayed skinny, and Bailey became a CHONK. (A term denoting an overly large cat.) The funny thing was, he LOOKED so much chunkier than he was, because he had quite short legs. This picture is in support of the hashtag Caturday.

Gone five years, and I am sitting here bawling, as I post the description in the ALT text.
A picture of my phone's lock screen image. The picture on my phone is a sleeping orange cat. He has a mis-formed ear, no teeth, and a barely visible scar on his nose... all from his former owners who mis-treated and abused him. The kind folks at Katie's Place (a no-kill cat shelter) saved him, and knew we would love him... and they were right. He was the most gentle soul, and we loved him for the two years we had him, until his tiny body gave up. He was gorgeous.

While spending some considerable time trying to retrieve data from a hard drive that took down my wife's old computer...
I am enjoying the #Canucks game, and the delicious #CrownRoyalBlackberry!

In the two large trees outside our house, every Christmas, we put large 12" wire balls, each containing, and wrapped in, numerous strands of Christmas lights. It is tremendously gratifying to hear the comments from neighbours, and passers-by, who are appeciative of the display. There are about 20 something balls in the two trees. Shining a little light of love in Pitt Meadows, BC.
