Thanks, Fr. Jim, this has been excellent! It's one of my regular Catholic podcasts for my daily walk. The insights you & your guests share have been very helpful in my own spiritual growth. Never too old to learn & grow!

Thank you. May have to do the same if FL doesn't fix this.

You're in FL, right Megan? Where & how? My wife's had no success finding it (Walgreens, CVS, Publix). What's the trick?

18 months ago, a new cardiologist asked how long I wanted to be around. Said I needed to lose 60 if I wanted to make 80. That was the kick. I’ve lost 45, & kept it off, by changing how I ate & conquering the sugar addiction. You can too, great start! Good luck!

I read this excellent story before seeing your post (& hadn’t noticed your byline). It brought me back to my parish in 1968, & the loss to the Church of a great priest. You are a loss to NCR.

Not much different from the mid-1800s in my home town where Protestant churches on Sunday am set out candies in their doorway to entice poor Irish kids on their way to Mass to go there instead.

Helpful link, may need it in the future. I pay big-time to stay on Traditional Medicare + Medigap to avoid just these shenanigans. But who knows what's going to happen ...
