The joys of writing historical fiction... I need a character to get from Kent to Swansea by car in the 1950s. 1960s, the M4 existed.. It looks like she has a long trip ahead!

This year I added a note to a jar every time something made me smile. From meeting new people to seeing a rainbow, I wanted to recognise the happy and good. Looking forward to being reminded of all my happy 2024 moments as I bring in the new year tonight. Happy new year everyone ✨️ 💖

Over half hour on and I'm still stunned and alarmed by the alert that went off on my phone. Now finding torches and charging my phone battery bank out of paranoia. Horrible living alone in moments like this.
