I usually dont like stories about photographers ( too fawning or too cliche) but this is a lovely piece about my friend George Steinmetz and his new book “Feed the Planet” a beautiful & encyclopedic look at food production around the world www.nytimes.com/2024/11/23/a...
In Amish Country, George Steinmetz Chases the Perfect Photograph (Gift Article)
In his mission to document the earth’s food supply, George Steinmetz recovers the human element in aerial photography — and in farming. Ahead of his new book, he brings our critic into the field.
