No Kings Day, Beaverton, Oregon. A large spirited anti-Trump rally after a particularly horrific week in America. There were rallies in all 50 states, in small towns and big cities, and it went beyond red and blue politics. This was more about right vs wrong.

Trump’s self-glorifying military birthday Saturday will cost us roughly $45 million and look like something in Russia or North Korea with rolling tanks and missiles and dictator-sized photos of our scowlng leader, but there will also be protests in all 50 states. See you there! Let freedom ring!

It's been a great couple days with Trump's big failure in the Supreme Court and his "big, beautiful bill" going down in flames--his deranged Tweets whining about Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and Robert De Niro after they publicly denounced him--and this plantation from slavery days burning down.

Trump wants a massive military parade for his birthday, but let’s not spend tax dollars on Old Bonespurs’ ego trip—he was never in the military, and cut VA benefits, and insulted Gold Star families. No Trump military parade! This isn’t a dictatorship like Russia or China and hopefully never will be.

Great turnout and sunshine for our MayDay rally and march in Seattle. The theme was immigrants and workers united, and there were plenty of both—migrant action groups and unions in full force, together to fight the Trump war on immigrants and working people.
