work is where you go to solve a problem and you find another problem that you have to solve first and then you find another problem you have to solve before that one and you keep pushing those problems onto your stack and oops turns out your stack is a ring buffer.

Sigh. Up until a year ago, I had fully weaned myself off reddit. Then I got accused of "quiet-quitting on reddit." This alarmed me, so I checked to see if my account had been hacked. And now it's a full @#%@# year later and I'm still trying to break the habit.
