Precheck is so worth the cost, even if you only fly one a year. My wife and I having it means our kids are covered too which is a huge bonus.

10k is absolutely doable but don't underestimate the difference between an elliptical and road races. Heck even running on a treadmill is not equivalent to the road where you have many other factors in play.
Keep it up though! A race is a great motivator and can be really fun and rewarding.

In college I was outside a building and ran into a guy who I had a "good to see you! We need to hang" and chat about classes before walking away going "who the fk was he again and what class did we have together?!?!"
I never did remember that. 😅

No one is perfect and I know that watching "perfect" people never own up to mistakes. She usually would from my experience which is why I valued our friendship.

Same here. One of the handful of folks I always had good interactions with and appreciated our friendship. It saddens me to think I haven't spoken to her in years. I actually found that it was July 2021 when I last heard from her.

Yes, she mostly disappeared after coming out about him (I can see his face but the name is lost to me). It was quite the massive backlash. She kept selling soap for a while and I kept small communication via her shop until she just announced she was ending that as well and I never saw her again.

Hmm I'm not so sure about handles, but it sounds familiar... The person I am referring to allowed her friends to call her Ash(ley). She sold really nice handmade soaps.

Made me super sad because she was so awesome and sweet. I even supported her Etsy business, but she eventually just deleted all socials (at least the ones I knew) and haven't heard from her since. 🙁
