I honestly believe that many people do not engage their rationality when their emotions are involved.
I realise this is not an excuse and I do not intend it to be.
But it might be FOR them as opposed to AGAINST you.

If people feel they want or deserve something then they can gain respect by asking for it openly, but lose respect by saying that they deserve it and others do not.

Oh no this came as a slight surprise but I heard about a lady who complained that her son with good grades did not get a place at a university he preferred, but some non white people HAD got in.
I had not appreciated that this went so deeply into some sad minds.

Gosh I have heard no scuttle but about Josh Whedon and I rather enjoyed his work. Now I hardly dare look him up to see what crawls off the page/screen, but I must!

I have toyed with the idea of creating an account to just look about a bit. It bothered me though that Musk might profit by even 1 cent just because of the additional account. So I have to rely on brave souls here to keep me informed.

I would like to emphasize that I think I would like to spend time chatting with Brian Cox. He is very smart, eloquent and human.

What I think is that he should come and LISTEN to some of the clients at our food bank, then do a memory test on what they told him BUT I live in Canada so, what I think, should not count.
