It's sad because Gen Z is shifting right-ward, so by the time boomers die out, it'll still be tough out of there.

Fantastic, let's have the party that just lost have a 74 year old be the ranking member of House Oversight. I'm sure he'll have new ideas on the direction of be party.

It's actually THE perfect commodity to profit from--an almost perfectly inelastic good-- which makes it even more sinister.

Evers comes across as old even though he's 9 years younger than Biden *still too old for a third term imo*. There's a material amount of voters that are vibes based and won't vote for someone that's perceived as too old.

I wonder why when Kamala released her policy proposals that no one either believed that she would follpw through or thought she had anything of substance. The era of incrementalism and revered-institutionalism has led to the reactionary backlash in Trump.

Funny how Kamala went from M4A in the primary to denouncing it at every turn. Maybe, we need leaders that don't come from or play with corporate America.

Secretary of Education has the power. But it has always been means tested. Just forgive it all.
What is the Higher Education Act —and could it still lead to student loan forgiveness?

He certainly can. DoE can under the higher education act. Like 95% of the debt is held by the government. Biden went for debt relief under Covid relief programs instead which is why there were issues. This is a classic case of dems following norms and not fighting hard enough.

It's so that denying care doesn't go from just anecdotes to indisputable reported facts.

It's all by design. You see, entitlements are for 99%, but subsidies are for the 1%

It's hard to get people to vote for you when no one believes that Democrats will actually fight. SCOTUS gave Biden a get out of jail free card with immunity, but he has't cancelled all student debt under the higher education act. NO, Biden must obey the corrupt courts and do nothing else to fight.

Honestly, it's surprising there hasn't been much more of this.
