A Tale of Two Halves. Not so enamoured of the first, but a great finish to that book.

So, they were paying attention to what Montreal did for Ken Dryden. Good for them.

The book should have been upside down, like his Bible, unless it's a picture book.

Yep. My wife and I were discussing that if she's truly sorry for the toxic politics he first move should have been a public apology to David Hogg.

Fair enough. Poor wording on my part. Bird flu is just not at the level of large numbers of chickens dying that it was.

It's just that eggs was their winning item on inflation last election.

"See how bad the Biden economy is? Look at how much eggs have gone up!"

No mention of the fact that it was the Bird Flu that caused the price to skyrocket. Since they've barely come down without flu, what's that point to?

So, what are they going to do in that regard to insure it doesn't happen?

Only the best people. I thought Mnuchin was bad last time, but this smug little fucker is just so much worse.

The Rs already voted on this when they passed their budget to cut the subsidies in the first place.

Dear @shaheen.senate.gov @fetterman.senate.gov @durbin.senate.gov and the rest of the eight ... Fuck you.

If the House doesn't allow a vote, what did you get?
November 10, 2025 at 11:50 AM
The Rs will keep their word and allow a vote. It will still need 60 vites to pass and that's not going to happen.

I appreciate that @schumer.senate.gov is against this still, but we need someone who can truly keep the membership on message as Dem Senate Leader.

Did someone hit his reboot switch?

The refs were horrible (maybe Rank) all night long. Didn't matter whether it was my Habs or your Flyers, there was a third team in the ice that both had to play against.
November 5, 2025 at 12:31 PM
What? That doesn't make you feel better?
November 2, 2025 at 11:50 AM
Forget what you know or you're going to be very disappointed. Just know that Gary Oldman played the accent that way because of the bad British accents from Winona and Keanu.

Dear Gods and Goddesses! This WASN'T in the USA!?

I mean, I should have expected that as it referenced actually having maternity leave available in the first place, but ... yikes.
